The news and assets are flying thick and fast thanks to Gamescom 2012. There are some top titles on display and these new screens from upcoming Assassin's Creed III are no exception. Those guys sure know how to whet an appetite.

These new screens show off some gorgeous environments, stunning lighting, fantastic characters. I strongly recommend firing up our screenshot viewer (by clicking on any image) to get the full effect.

i totally love assassins creed - which is why am gonna wait for GOTY edition of this game...........why ? it just smells of DLC ripping fans off...........such a shame............................???!!!

I preordered it but still aren't anywhere near as excited as everyone else... I don't even see myself playing this on release day due to my games backlog. Oh well, we'll see. Hopefully it does not disappoint.

I look at the screens and I try to refrain from getting excited. I know the more I get excited, the harder the wait is going to be.

Account Settings

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.

3. Scroll down to Settings and Preferences on the right hand side. Click on Privacy and Online Settings.

4. Scroll down to Privacy. You need to make sure that Profile Sharing and Game History is set to Everyone otherwise you will not be scanned.

These simple steps will allow TrueAchievements to scan your profile and update your achievements.
