Apple Jack is bored at work, and longs for another wonderful adventure. Apple Jack 2 chronicles that adventure of our favorite streaking fruit.

Poor Apple Jack – slaving away in the offices of a plastics company just isn't what apple-headed men were made for. 61 levels of varied puzzle-platform action await as he grabs enemies, hurls them together, runs, jumps, rolls, crushes, combos and rewinds his way through an epic new adventure!

RELEASE DATE: 6/14/2012
DEVELOPER: My Owl Software
GENRE: Platformer

FEATURES
Offline players 1
Dolby Digital
What a great and crazy concept. The art-work in the cut-scenes is very charming. The graphics of the main game are crisp as a summer apple. Yes, if you love apples you will fall in love with this platforming apple of a man.

The controls are tight, which is a must for any serious platformer. The story of Apple Jack is just crazy enough to keep me very interested in our unsuspecting hero. Let's face it, who doesn't want to battle cuddly pandas by flinging them into each-other?

Apple Jack 2 is a game that doesn't take itself too seriously, but it does take being a great platformer very seriously. That combination makes this one of the most interesting and creative platformers I have played in some time.

You can slice up Apple Jack 2 for 80 MSP and sprinkle it into your XBLIG collection.

If you have an Xbox Live Indie Game that you feel should be featured in an edition of the Indie Games Spotlight, please PM your suggestions to mancide.

Clicked on this story by chance, and have never really looked into XBLIG's before. XBOX has a distinct lack of good platformers, so I'm gonna buy my first Indie Game. Thanks OP.

Yep, this game is good.

I still have the trials of this and the first one on my HDD, along with a couple of other Indie Games. My plan is to buy them one day when I don't feel like playing any of my backlog, and feel like these on impulse!

To further this, Splosion Man and Ms. Splosion were pretty good as well. Adventures of Shuggy was an easy one, but fun and silly. Need I go on....

I did word it badly, what I meant was I want more platformers. MOAR!

Apples AND battling a Panda army? I think I may be buying my first indie game as well.

I agree that I'd like to see more platformers on xbox. The ones mentioned above are good calls though.

Aren't the Splosion games and Super Meat boy actually Live Arcade Games...not Live Indie Games? I know they are developed by Indie developers but they cost much more than the average Indie game. 400MSP should be the limit and thats a little high IMO considering most are priced around 80 - 160 MSP.

I believe it was meant to be taken in a general context, because there really aren't a massive amount of platformers on the Xbox. Although another example of a newer one more recently is Dust.
