Grand Theft Auto V Screens Focus on Transportation

Grand Theft Auto V Screens Focus on Transportation

Bikes and planes make a welcome return

Written by N0T PENNYS B0AT on 20 August 12 at 13:58

Grand Theft Auto V doesn't even have a firm release date and it's already expected to be one of the biggest -- if not the biggest -- video game releases in history. The evil geniuses at Rockstar have played everything very coy so far, as they normally do with their upcoming releases. We've seen only a pair of screens until now.

Today we are presented with a trio of transportation vehicles. The Cheetah will be returning, as shown below, but more excitingly, bicycles and airplanes are back as player options for getting around Los Santos and abroad.

Rockstar promises more news and screens later this week, so keep it here with TA and we'll get you your fix.

I love the GTA series. It's a fun game to just pop in for a little bit and just mess around in for a little bit now and then even after completing the story.

YES! Hopefully Rockstar can recapture the magic that they lost between San Andreas and IV. I can't wait to see what radio stations are coming back.

The series is getting stale for me. The entire mission structure is so...stilted. Dont know how they could improve it though.

San Andreas was the best, followed by Vice City.

GTA4 was amazing. I will be nice to have a quality San Andreas to run around in, because to me, the original San Andreas was almost unplayable with all of the pop in and nothing but gangster garbage.
Yes, I know I am.

With any luck R* have learned from the mistakes made in GTA IV. I think they had by the arrival of TBoGT as that felt more like the "old" GTA - I'd be more than happy with a current-gen re-working of the original San Andreas, with all the fun, humour and Jetpacks it had. As long as they re-introduce the fun, I'm on board!

biggest release in history? lol way way over playing a game that wont even be close to the top. If anything pong would be the biggest release in history since its the first video game.

I loved the gritty feel of GTA 4 and 3. Also loved VC, but was not a big fan of San Andreas. Sure it had the most features but the storyline and general ambiance felt very tacky and I found it very hard to feel engrossed in the character at all.
