| I wouldn't comment on a game, or even a franchise you don't even own. |

| Lots of improvements to goalies, harder to score on now, which is good. Free Skate mode is exactly what I've been waiting years for! On the flip side it feels awkward when trying to hit someone unless you're Lucic or someone, maybe finally the physics engine kicking in and you can't throw your weight (or lack there-of) unless you've got a size advantage. |

I found the demo good, it feels like they act more like they should now.
@Prattal I noticed I had to switch more to stick checking over where I used to just line up the big hit. Though this is more realistic imo, in the NHL you wouldn't see tons of bonecrunching hits in most games because only certain players would really go for that sort of hit because that was their style, not to mention it is a fairly risky move positionwise. Back in the day, it was Robitaille and Gretzky doing the hits like that for me, when it should have been Blake and McSorley. |

Its definitely a lot harder to score this year. It took me a couple tries to win the HUT tournament and I ended up having to win against USA in a shootout.(you get a upgraded HUT pack for winning the tournament)
Overall, its a big improvement. There are still some problems with hitting though because sometimes the AI will send me flying, even though we are both skating in the same direction and have the same momentum. I am also a little concerned about the backwards skating. I can already see people abusing that online. |

| I haven't owned an NHL since '08. I played the demo like I do every year, and while the game has clearly come a long way in terms of becoming more 'real', that just does not equal fun for me. I would love to see a more arcade style hockey game come out - not like 3 on 3 Arcade with the giant heads and power ups, etc., but a true 5 on 5 game that's just fast and furious with big hits and guys flying over the boards ... NHL '94 in HD! =) |

| The demo was really nice, but I did find a few glitches with the goalies that're from 12 to score, and i'm pretty upset about it. I only did them in free skate, so I hope they wouldn't be a factor in an actual game with the new A.I. Defense. |

Demo is good, they give you more game modes like HUT, free skate and Moments. It is much harder score in this year's game as well. For me the biggest change has to be the the True Performence Skating. They made it very realistic and it has been a challenge, I enjoy it because makes the game so life like, but it does change the way I play a bit and hopefully by the time the full game is released I will have the skating down. |

| The demo is really good, Im extremely impressed on how they made this game very realistic. It makes the dump and chase a real option now. |

Skating is better, speed seems to matter, the CPU is more intelligent, goalies are smarter...... overall seems WAY more realistic. Huge improvement.

| Well....even the demo load screen has crazy lag (for a demo) Im a Flyers fan and still don't care about video tutorial from Giroux. Just forget everything else and make the game playable. Their profit margin should be around $1,000% with all the HUT and otp upgrades plus possibly season pass and online pass. But yet they still use the same engine (which is the same one they use for FIFA). I really hope the game pans out with no glitching but thats about like EA actually making a new engine or making promises of fixed glitched achievements and then never commenting about it again after one post. |

| I still need to check out the demo and see if this is any good. Wouldn't play this on my profile though...too many lame online achievements to fuss with. |

| Demo was entertaining minus load screens. Too bad I just can't get in to actually watching the sport itself. |
