| Dale Jr. is with Hendrick Motorsports and not JR Motorsports in the Sprint Cup. it is a typo. |

| No Modifies, Truck, or Busch series. Is it so hard for a game company to make a game where they have a franchise mode where you can start your own team and sign any driver you want to your team? |

The idea is, drivers, not the car, win the race. |

The idea is, drivers, not the car, win the race.Oh ok I still fail to see the merits of dedicating a whole game to that. I can drive NASCAR cars in any number of games. |

I will be racking up wins in the #39 car. I've been following Ryan's career since years ago when he still drove the #12. He's one of the more underrated drivers, but how many others have a degree in engineering? How many others can even convey their thoughts properly in a post-race interview?

I fail to see it.If it makes you feel any better, they all have different engines with different tuning and specs. Some have slightly more power; some have slightly better fuel economy. You have to figure out the best setup for your driving style at each track. Yes, each track is different despite most looking like simple ovals from an aerial view.
As mentioned, driver ability comes into play quite heavily. You can also factor in that it's 43 cars racing at high speed in close configurations. This equates to you always being one simple mistake away from finishing last. If you doubt the difficulty of these games, try to score 1000 on it and see how that works out. I actually rate the difficulty of these higher than Forza, Grid, and NFS (all of which I have 1000 on).
None of us have to agree on anything here. Still, you must have some interest in this game. Otherwise, why would you be following the updates on its upcoming release? Right? |

Oh I have interest going back to PS1 I remember how you could get tire blowouts or crashes happening the only the thing I found really tedious was 100 laps of it. I guess it is tactical because of tire blowouts and crashes. Only problem is I have rarely seen one that got over 7.0/10. Maybe this might be the first one to be decent. Well its up against Forza Horizon and TD: FDL so who knows? Budget title perhaps. |

Well its up against Forza Horizon and TD: FDL so who knows? Budget title perhaps.I think you nailed it. The problem with stock car games doesn't lie in the sport itself, but the poor execution by the developers granted the licensing. Horizon will probably be a day one purchase for me, as it looks like a nice break from the normal Forza sims. Plus, I'm keeping an eye on NFS: Most Wanted. That being said, NASCAR will probably be a Jan - Feb purchase for me. |
