That was an absolutely shocking video, truly, truly awful.
Couldn't let the gameplay speak for itself at all, needed an entirely un-humorous voice over to extol the virtues of the game.
Regardless.
Still looks a bit dull to me, will wait for some reviews to hit before I make up my mind. At the very least it does seem to be an upgrade on the first title. |

My only complaint with wireless controllers is that there's nothing to slow em down when I throw em. |

I never knew that.
As for this game, I'm pretty interested. I never played Naughty Bear despite being really excited about it originally, purely because of all the terrible reviews it got when it came out (and yes, I know I shouldn't listen to reviews or what other people say if I think I'll enjoy a game). But when a game gets scores as low as 1 or 2 out of 10 then it's really hard to ignore.
This will hopefully get better reviews and then if I play it and really like it then maybe I will pick up a copy of the original one  |

| I like how they're improving the game overall, yet it'll be cheaper than the original release, as it's an XBLA game. Really hope it's 1200 points or under. Also, are they cutting back on the stealth aspects from the 1st game in this one? |

If the gameplay is of a high enough quality, they wouldn't need the voiceover. This is the first trailer I've ever seen that's bigged up the game so blatantly and with such a lack of humour.
Just a pet peeve I guess.
Anyway, like I said, the actual look of the gameplay doesn't look too exciting to me, suspect the novelty of yet again killing bears...as a bear, would run out eventually, though it does look like the developers are trying to rectify some of the issues from the original.
Good luck to them, hope it does well, I genuinely do, they just need to hire a better trailer producer! |
