This week sees another two demos arrive on the Marketplace. The latest additions are Gold-exclusive previews.

If you're one of the three gamers (slight exaggeration!) who hasn't yet picked up 2011's Call of Duty iteration, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, then the single-player demo will probably be worth a look.

Why do they release the cod demos so long AFTER release? Seriously, who hasn't got this yet who wants it?

With CoD fanbase, they have enough pre-release sales I imagine. A good demo will have little effect, a bad demo before release could put a lot of people off. Releasing a late demo could be to target those who weren't initially interested but may buy for a reduced price?

Usually, late demos means the game is coming in GoD but isn't this one already available ?

Edit : Yup, available since 4/24/2012, so i really don't know why releasing a demo now is worth something. Especially when some developers say it can cost them up to 5000 dollars just to make a trial version.

MW3 is the first COD game I haven't played. Was thinking of Getting the demo but I already know what to expect from the game. Thats why I didn't by it last year. Prob going to invest in Blops 2 though

I downloaded the first demo of when it came out and downloaded the second demo of the same yesterday. I missed the 'download completed' pop up so I went into My Games and realized both the 1st and 2nd demo has the same preview picture, same name, same details. So I couldn't decide which one is the new demo hence randomly launched one and obviously it was the first demo. Had to dashboard it and launch the other one. Want my 30 seconds back konami!
