Target.com Daily Deal: September 6, 2012 [US]

Save $10 on a 4000 MSP card

Written by litepink on 06 September 12 at 15:19

If your points balance was depleted by the current Deal of the Week or the Back to School Sale, here’s an opportunity to refill and prepare for future sales or other marketplace content.

4000 MSP Card$49.99 $40.00

If you’re anxious to get your hands on the card for current sales, you have to remember that you will be shipped a physical points card, and it may or may not arrive in time to arrive for this week’s stellar bargains. There will be other sales of course, and there’s probably plenty of great XBLA games or DLC to burn your points on too.

As with every Target.com Daily Deal, shipping is free. You can save an additional 5% if you are a Target REDcard holder. A small disclaimer: the free shipping isn’t applying to today’s Daily Deal purchases properly at the moment; you may want to wait or otherwise contact customer service for a refund if you are overcharged. RedCARD purchases offer free shipping on everything anyways, so if you are paying with that you would not need to worry.

Prices valid online only, while supplies last.

Ya, I'm getting one of these. Going to have to wait and see if htey fix the shipping thing, because otherwise it's not really a deal and the time it takes to work through a refund doesn't make it worth my time.

Hope it gets fixed though, because this a good deal. I buy points on occasion anyway, why not get a discount doing it?

Shipping charges kill the deal IMO. I'm only saving a few bucks. I'll check back later.

Shipping is suppose to be free – if you are charged for shipping, take a screen grab of everything you ordered and send an e-mail to the “Contact Us” part of the site and get a refund. The free shipping for Daily Deals is always valid, it says so right on the top of Target.com’s homepage. I’m not sure if this error is a common occurrence or if it just happened today, but shipping should be free in this instance.

I took litepink's advice and just placed the order (20% off FTW!), and then wrote to customer service saying that the site indicated free shipping and I have screenshots and stuff to back it up.
