The upcoming Danger Close title, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, will take gamers through the shadowy lives of Tier-1 Operatives who are hell-bent on stopping any and every potential threat that faces the landscape of this world.

EA recently announced the upcoming plans for the "Zero Dark Thirty" DLC that will be cross-promoted with the movie of the same title.

EA's special forces Project HONOR Charity in conjunction with, Columbia Pictures and Annapurna Pictures, will donate at least $1 Million dollars to respective non-profit military charities, through this cross-promotion.

Mark Boal, writer-producer of Zero Dark Thirty had this to say in regards to working with Project HONOR.
Working with Project HONOR is a meaningful way for us to continue our support for combat veterans throughout the armed services. We are thrilled to be a part of this effort, and we’re humbled that EA is stepping up to the plate with such a significant contribution.
The "Zero Dark Thirty" DLC will feature two maps that are included, at no charge, to those that secure a pre-order for the Limited Edition of Medal of Honor: Warfighter. Gamers will be taken to two highly-volatile hot-spots that have been constructed and based on real-life events portrayed through the eyes of Tier-1 Operatives who have participated in the writing of the game.

Darra Gun Market, Pakistan:

The infamous illegal arms bazaar, run by a vicious trbal leader, is a place where laws are written by the ruler, not by the police, and it will be a locale with close-quarter firefights and governed by two staple views, revenge and hospitality.

Chitral, Pakistan

Under the cover of darkness gamers will fight for survival in a locale that borders China to the North, and Afghanistan to the West. Chitral is a remote area which will have you traverse rugged terrain in order to become victorious.

Peter Moore, Chief Operating Officer at EA had this to say in regards to the cross-promotion DLC.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is inspired by real world events, real operations, and real warriors. We’ve teamed up with Sony Pictures Entertainment to give back to the Special Operations community in honor of the sacrifices they and their families have made for their country and to connect people to the story of the greatest manhunt our world has seen.

The movie Zero Dark Thirty, directed by Kathryn Bigelow, who also directed The Hurt Locker, will be in theaters December 19th.

Gamers looking to take on the role of special operations through the stories told by Tier-1 Operators will be able to pick-up Medal of Honor: Warfighter, worldwide on October 23rd. If you are looking to pre-order your limited edition copy in North America, you will receive the "Zero Dark Thirty" Map pack DLC. Gamers in Europe will receive the same two maps, however the DLC will be known as, "The Hunt".
