Sad news, Japanese Xbox 360 owners.

Konami revealed today that they are no longer working on a Japanese Xbox 360 port of their upcoming, Platinum Games-developed Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Konami did not give any specifics as to the cancellation, but seeing as the PS3 version is still a go, it's likely due to poor sales forecasts for the title.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance's release date in other regions remains unchanged, so you can expect it to arrive on February 19th, 2013 in America and February 21st in other territories that aren't Japan. For all of our previous coverage, head right over here.
