Skylanders Giants Character Trailer Released

Crusher is a smash hit!

The Arkeyan Robots don't stand much of a chance when Crusher swings his way through the world of Toys for Bob's upcoming adventure title, Skylanders Giants. We previously had the joy of meeting Chill and Shroomboom at Gamescom 2012, and then witnessed them in action shortly afterwards in two trailers. Activision have released a new trailer introducing Crusher, a furious Skylander Giant equipped with a hammer which helps him release some of that anger.

The trailer showcases Crusher in action as he wipes out anything and everything in his path. Also included with the trailer, are some details on Crusher's past, and why he is all pumped and ready to rock with his hammer:

Skylander Name: Crusher
Element Family: Earth
Catch Phrase: It's Crush Hour!

It's Crush Hour! Crusher knew from the moment he put on his father's mining helmet that his true passion in life was crushing rocks. He was fascinated with rock-lore and traveled all throughout Skylands in search of rare minerals to pulverize with his powerful hand-crafted rock hammer, which he also named Crusher. But along his travels, he discovered that the evil Arkeyan King was also searching for rocks -- to melt down into weapons of war. Crusher's fury built up like an avalanche. After all, crushing was his job! So he put aside his life's passion and decided to use his hammer for a greater purpose - crushing Arkeyan Robots!

Skylanders Giants is set for release on October 19th for Europe, and October 21st for North America.

Looks decent, I did confirm that the game is NOT backwards compatible, but IS forward compatible, so your Skylanders will work in Skylanders: Giants but not Giants in Skylanders. I will admit, for an Activision product, its very exceptional, better than Call of Duty byfar with concept and quality, but the need to buy more figures to play the entire world is a real runoff, but thats why its Activision, all about the moeny money money

People compared this to pokemon or something of the modern day and that just set the bar too high for me to end up purchasing it only to be disappointed. laugh
I may or may not have been Izuna Dropped on my head as a child.
