New trailer hints at what is to come

Confession time, TAers. Gather 'round.

See, we do our best to cover the entire scope of Xbox 360 and Windows Phone news around here, which often means that we cover games that the staff frankly doesn't know all too much about. Usually, in these cases, we'll have a helpful press release or press kit of some sort to give us essential information. Then we can elaborate based on our personal knowledge.

It's now come to pass that we've come across something where, honestly, we know there's news, but can't quite parse out the exact details.

Here's what we know: Windows Phone title DoDonPachi Maximum (WP) is set to receive a title update sometime this fall. To announce this, developer Cave has released a new video featuring character stills and some of the most delightful Engrish we've seen since the Neo Geo days.



What we don't know is exactly what the title update will add, though it looks like new characters are incoming. We also don't have a date more specific than 'Fall'. Once we get more details, however, we'll be sure to pass them along.

Aw and I just completed the game a couple of months ago. Hope the next batch of achievements (if there are any new ones) won't be hard. ^^;

Dangun Feveron (either XBLA or WP service is fine) would be nice~ :3

This game just had a title update a few weeks ago to make it easier.
The update gave an option to turn on autobomb now. Still very hard to 100% even with autobomb.

Ah, I did notice there was an update, but didn't know it added Auto-Bomb. I was able to 100% it without the update tho. But good to know for later. :3

1. Addition of easy mode.
2. A new story for easy mode.
3. Others.

Hm no mention of Dangun Feveron yet. ^^;;
I do hope they will release the game on XBLA/WP7 and not just adding the characters from the game.

It's also possible that they'll just add some new easy achievements smile
