Another Heroic DLC Sale Arrives This Month

By Keith Gray, 4 years ago
The DJ Hero and Guitar Hero brands both see new sales occur each month, and September is no different. Following last month's discounts, Activision has a pretty decent excuse to celebrate, as the birthday of late rock legend, Queen's Freddie Mercury, fell earlier this month. Here's the full details of the track packs and other items which are reduced at the moment.

DJ Hero
• "Double Decks" Avatar Item - 240 MSP 120 MSP

DJ Hero 2
• "Pendulum Mix Pack" - 640 MSP 320 MSP (Pack includes: “Watercolour", "Set Me On Fire", and "Salt In The Wound").
• "Modern Metal Pack" - 500 MSP 250 MSP (Pack includes: “Almost Easy” by Avenged Sevenfold, “The Arsonist” by Thrice, “Hole in the earth” by Deftones).

Guitar Hero: World Tour
• "Queen Track Pack" - 440 MSP 220 MSP (Pack includes: "C-Lebrity", "Fat Bottomed Girls" and "We are the Champions").

Guitar Hero 5
• "30 Seconds to Mars Track Pack" - 440 MSP 220 MSP (Pack includes: "Attack", "From Yesterday" and "Kings and Queens").

Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock
• "Modern Rock Mega Pack" - 1320 MSP 660 MSP (Pack includes: "Always" by Saliva, "Little Sister" by Queens of the Stone Age, "Psycho" by Puddle Of Mudd, "Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades" by Brand New, "Headstrong" by Trapt, "She's A Genius" by Jet, "Hands Open" by Snow Patrol, "Sorrow" by Bad Religion and "Supermassive Black Hole" by Muse).

Compatibility Notes:

This seemed to have been a helpful guide in previous months, so we're happy to bring it to you again. There is some degree of cross-compatibility between Guitar Hero games, but it's hard to keep straight. Here's a list of what packs work with what games in addition to the game the pack is listed for. If the pack is not mentioned below, then it ONLY works in the game it is listed under.

The "Queen Track Pack" and the "30 Seconds to Mars Track Pack" both also work in Band Hero, Guitar Hero 5 and Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock.

No specific end date has been highlighted for the current sale.
