Written by mancide (mancide) on 14 September 12 at 17:18

Whatcha gonna do when Fire Pro Wrestling runs wild over you?! Well, on September 21st, 2012, we all better be taking our vitamins and eating our vegetables to prepare for the greatest Avatar wrestling game to hit the Xbox 360.

Not a Pro Wrestler? No problem!
Is this your first Pro Wrestling game? No problem! Jump right in with your own Avatar through Fire Pro Wrestling’s approachable game mechanics.

Freedom to Customize
Take on your opponent with over 300 unlockable wrestling moves.
Show off your style with over 300 costume items.

Of course, you can also run past the wardrobe and jump into the ring with your Avatar appearing just like it does on the Dashboard!

Growth (RPG) elements
Train hard and take down various opponents in the campaign mode.
Gain experience through matches to increase your power, speed, technique, and other stats. No two wrestlers will be the same!

Multiplayer
Up to four wrestlers face off either offline or over Xbox LIVE.

Go head to head (to head to head) in all-out Battle Royale, or test your camaraderie in Tag Team co-op mode.

Featuring Avatar FameStar
Play Xbox LIVE Arcade titles that support Avatar FameStar to complete Weekly Challenges and other tasks and gain Fame points. Accumulate Fame points to place yourself against your friends in the FameStar leaderboards or unlock special Avatar costumes.

Let me see a price, but the concept is great. It looks like it will be a lot of silly fun.

Anyway, I've been playing FirePro imports since Sega Saturn. This is obviously...different. Even so, I can't wait!

Different indeed. I got really excited when I saw the headline... then got really disappoint when I saw the screens. Good concept for a game, but it's not Fire Pro by a long shot..

If it's 1200 MSP then they can shove it. Otherwise I'll try the demo and if "approachable game mechanics" means button mashing and QTE then... well, it might just be dull enough to cure my insomnia.

Utterly tragic. 7 years since the last Fire Pro game and this is what we get.
