More Mass Effect On The Way

By Jonathan Barnes, 4 years ago
A bit of late-breaking news came out of Canada this evening, as BioWare's Chris Priestly confirmed that the next single player DLC for Mass Effect 3 would be titled "Omega" and is set for a release this Fall.

He then dropped another pseudo-bombshell by saying that BioWare was working on another Mass Effect game. While the idea of a new game isn't the biggest revelation since the disclosure of the catalyst, it is newsworthy that they are currently working on the next game in the Mass Effect universe.

Further details on these two points of interest are scant at this time, but Priestly said that more would be disclosed in the coming weeks.

The bigger story out of Canada is probably the departure of BioWare's founders, the doctors Ray Muzyka and Greg Zeschuk, who are both retiring from the industry to pursue other interests. Muzyka said that he'd be focusing on a new entrepreneurial venture. Zeschuk plans to spend more time with loved ones and do some "personal passion-driven projects related to craft beer."

As always, be sure to stay locked on to TA for further news!
