| Reminiscent of Limbo, though I'm sure that's more to do with the aesthetics than anything else... |

Something as high quality as this is probably worth 2.29, instead of the usual crap they try to shovel on us at 2.29. However when its cheaper on other formats, i kinda feel like they're taking us for mugs.
Love the look of it, but on a principal i won't be buying. |
150 achievements on old games for 1% increase.... soon be 90% >_< |

I almost want to buy it just from viewing the screens. As many have stated above it does remind me of Limbo with the dark art style.
Getting the trial for sure, but something tells me I will end up buying it in the end. |

| Seems like one of those games that require you to complete all worlds, 3 star every level etc for the cheevos. I've done a lot of those sort of games, dunno if I can be arsed tbf. |

With achieves and such, I think $2.99 is fair. Integrating with Xbox Live is a real deal breaker for me, I wouldn't play phone games at all if it didn't connect with everything else I did. I think they have a great system going. On the iPhone, their is no seemless connectivity with anything else. It's just there. I personally think most of the prices are justified.
Then again, I guess I'm just not as cheap as you guys apparently.
Why are you even on this website then, actually? If your big concern is pricing and that it is priced higher, why do you have an Xbox? Most games are far cheaper on a PC, go on sale faster, and even have mods and such. People are stupid. |

Do not buy until Microsoft fixes their horrible pricing strategy.windows7 games are always more expensive due to achievements being added, think it would be better to have achievement and none achievement versions but i guess then it wouldnt be microsoft orf benificial. I'll pay up to £2.20 for the games but only if i like them, the £0.79 games being released i take regardless as a decent time killer |

Interesting comments about pricing on this thread. Are the inclusion of [xbox] achievements REALLY worth the $2 difference between WP7 and iOS releases?
Yeah, the integration etc is great, but a lot of people forget that other formats now have "achievements" too..
WP7 users are getting ripped off compared to other formats. end of. |

Grex, end of nothing. Other formats may have their own form of achievements, but they do no connect flawlessly between multiple devices that bring all of your gaming to one place - your gamertag. I can't play games on the iPhone, because I mostly think they are shallow and pointless. However, when I DO need a time waster, it gives me a nice little incentive knowing it'll be adding to my gamerscore and I can track it right along with everything else.
Most iPhone releases are also $1 because the marketplace is crowded and flooded with crap. Unfortunately, most casuals that buy games on them will only pay a $1 and only expect to pay such. They couldn't care less about what it connects to. The WP7 marketplace is actually managed and does a decent job of giving us a decent game every week and not over-doing it. It has its problems, but the price point isn't one of them. It is worth the price up for connectivity alone. |
