Inafune's YAIBA to be a Ninja Gaiden Title

Last week, Keiji Inafune revealed to the world that his development studio, Comcept, was currently in the very early stages of development for YAIBA. Described as a "new concept consisting of zombies with action, ninjas and mechs", gamers certainly were intrigued by one of the better-known names in zombie video games returning to his craft.

Today, with the Tokyo Game Show in full swing, we've learned that YAIBA is actually going to be a Ninja Gaiden title. Fully titled Yaiba: Ninja Gaiden Z, the game will be a collaboration between Comcept and Team Ninja that puts series regular Ryu Hayabusa in an interesting situation.



For those of you who can't watch the video, we learn that Yaiba is an undead Ninja whose target is none other than Ryu himself. Here are some screens, as well:
