I'll rent it! I got bored quickly of Earth Defense Force: Insect Armageddon but I still had fun completing the story. Once I completed the story, I was bored out of my skull and sent the game back to GameFly. I haven't tried Earth Defense Force 2017.
I'll probably get bored of this one right after I complete the story and end up mailing it back to GameFly. |

You should check it out, or maybe just wait for this one since it comes from the original devs. |

| This looks like what Insect Armegeddeon should have been. If this is above 52 missions and has scores more weapons, I will be happy. I want it to be closer to 2017 than IA. |

We need loads of short but awesome missions like 2017, and one hell of a boss fight at the end, against some kind of ultra-mothership. |

| Really disappointed with Earth Defence Force: IA because it was short, but 2017 which i never played look really hard and good valve especially with 52 missions, so hopefully it will be like 2017 but not too hard to not be able to complete it, but hope they add coop with this, and forget the survival mode, which was a good idea, didnt work as well as say Horde mode of Gears |

Perhaps the best I've seen on this site.
OT: I've never played a EDF game and this doesn't really entice me much. |
