| I still say that this is just another FPS in an already over crowded market BUT it does look like a solid shooter. I'll prob rent it but I'm not even slightly excited by it. |

Nope. ArmA is authentic.Even that is buggy and problematic at times and yes I laughed at the guy that said this game is realistic. This is going to be another gallery shooter and I can't unsee that it just looks so generic that the fun may be in being specops online. |

I didn't say 'realistic'. I said authentic. Quite a difference. So on that your laughter should be directed towards your gaffe.
Per Epic's response about Arma.
1. Arma might be 'authentic', however, it's also a PC title. I wasn't even aware that we were discussing them.
2. I'd imagine you have the same blurred vision as to what 'Authentic' means, when translated into the discussion about video games. Authenticity comes from the details placed in the weapons, uniforms, and any other portion of in-game items and information based upon real world. |

I found this somewhere in between COD and BF3 in MHO. I wasnt massively bowled over by it but I didnt hate it. Downside is there are just far too many other games out at the same time I would prefer to get.
I will probably get this in the New Year at a reduced cost. |
