Planets Under Attack Trailer

Planets Under Attack Trailer

It's complete planetary annihilation but, you know, more fun

Written by ChewieOnIce on 27 September 12 at 14:52

After months of silence, TopWare Interactive have now released a trailer for their upcoming XBLA title, Planets Under Attack, which is being developed by Targem Games.

The game, which was announced back in April under the title Planets At War, is a strategy title, in which the player must 'conquer the universe and unlock secret star routes leading them even deeper into a foreign galaxy.'

The trailer gives a clearer idea of the title's gameplay, which involves defending your planets from attacking squadrons of humans, aliens or robots, or attacking the planets of your opposition.

The game includes a single player campaign and a multitude of planet-smashing multiplayer modes, including King of the Hill, Domination and Elimination.

Seeing as the original June 2012 release date for Planets Under Attack has now long passed, file this one's current release under 'To Be Confirmed'.

Is it just me or recently has the number of arcade games been outnumbering the retail games being announced ?

This worries me

Yeah but im seeing more and more that look the same, before i liked the idea of the arcade games because they were unique compared to most of the usual RPG and FPS games out there but alone this month there has been about 4 games all the same looking been announced

I am not saying this game is one of them its just i hope we dont see a huge decline on retail
