"Welcome to the dungeon. Those (un)lucky few that are chosen, face great riches and great perils. Good luck!" A randomly generated dungeon is created every time you play. Discover the dungeons many secrets and multiple outcomes. Do you have what it takes to survive the dungeon?

RELEASE DATE: 11/09/2012
DEVELOPER: tricktale
GENRE: Action & Adventure

FEATURES
Offline players 1
Dolby Digital
The third game in the Indie Games Uprising promotion brings you a 3D-ish top-down dungeon crawler, where you and your companion chest scour these deadly dungeons for loot.

Fans of dungeon crawlers will find this game familiar. You wake up trapped in a dungeon, and upon finding a sword you need to fight your way out of each room. Finding keys and loot along the way, you will also help a companion chest who will then help you hold all of the loot you find along the way.

The puzzles and enemies progress slightly as you find yourself deeper in the dungeon, and the loot you find will get better along the way. Not quite as punishing as some other recent dungeon games, the difficulty is still enough to keep you honest as you fight your way through the rooms.

Diehard Dungeon can be added to your Indie Games collection for 80 MSP.

If you have an Xbox Live Indie Game that you feel should be featured in an edition of the Indie Games Spotlight, please PM your suggestions to mancide.

It's similar to The Binding of Isaac in the sense that it's randomly-generated, has boss fights and so forth. Only lacks that charming Ed McMillen art style.

Fun though and well worth the 80MSP.

Just 50 points per game would send sales through the roof I'm sure, which in turn would allow many devs to keep developing and produce bigger and better things.

Come on MS, such a small change could have such a big impact on the industry.

Not everyone just plays for achievements here they actually play the game for the game its self and enjoy the achievements along the way as an added bonus but to not buy a game just because it doest have achievements says you take them far too seriously

I really like how this site highlights indie games from time to time. I wish they got more attention, although I'm sure that is difficult considering how many there are.

My point, as you so elegantly put it, is that you're bitching about achievements on an achievement website...

I don't see me bitching anywhere , all i said was i don't let achievements rule my gaming

Bitching about achievements are the people who complain if a game has ones they don't like, if game doesn't have any or not buying a game because the kind of achievements, that's bitching what i said was nothing alike

You do realize your making a stance that this site is only about achievements in a thread reviewing a game that doesn't contain any right ? laugh

I've picked up a few indie games that I have enjoyed, but I must say that it is difficult to find good reviews of them and there is a lot of crap to filter through.

I do think I am going to bite the bullet and spend my next free 400 MSP from Bing Rewards on this one and hopefully Arcadecraft (if it does actually release in Oct.).

Looks and sounds good!
Lots of good indie games on the marketplace. Currently enjoying DLC Quest.
I'm fine with there being no achievements, but would welcome the addition as long as it wouldn't increase the cost of the games too much for whatever reason.

I heard somewhere that they were considering it but that they would actually raise the cost , i dont get why tbh i mean its still the same game your playing with no extra game play added

Im not sure where i heard it , it might of been on here or speaking to a friend on party chat

I really wanted to play this, so I downloaded the trial. It crashed every time I loaded it, and then every Indie Game I tried to load crashed too. I deleted it from my HDD and all my Indie Games starting working again. WTF is that about?
