I'm pretty sure it has gone through certification, it's all set to go. I know that it just needs a release date, and we all know m$ takes care of that, so it's just a matter of m$ giving it a release date and the developer not wanting to make all platforms wait while m$ decides. (from what I gather, and i've been following this game :p) it hasn't been said what's keeping it from wii, but that actually sounds like there's a date not yet announced or that it's coming this month.
similar story was with Dungeon Defenders, but they actually DID decide to wait for m$, and release on all platforms simultaneously later, while it was actually ready to go on pc prior to that. gamers didn't like that. |

Anyway. the press release clearly states that it's releasing as soon as it's passed certification on the various individual platforms. There's no reason to believe the developer is lying about that. |

Only little children and wannabe systemcritic brats use the $ in names to to show off their "Anti Moneymaking company" attitude.
And yet he uses a picture of a billion dollar company to identify with, oh the irony...
I don't see the problem here, no one/no other platform has the game yet.
And it's not MS fault that they wanna have a look at what they distribute on their platform. |

I didn't think I was getting this game but with all the homages they're paying to classic gaming, I'd be a fool not to.

I don't even think about it. Besides, it's quicker then typing out Microsoft, and if I put MS people might think it's something else. everyone knows what m$ is the second you see it.
Of course it wouldn't be a big deal to you, YOU NEVER BUY YOUR GAMES. You get them for free for writing some shitty reviews in around 2 paragraphs or so.
