Warlords Given A Release Date

Remember way back in March of 2011 when Atari announced Warlords, a modern take on the classic? The last we heard was back in August of 2011, when as far as anyone knew it was still set to come out later that Summer.

Jump forward to now, early October 2012, over a year later and Warlords finally has a release date for Xbox Live. Whilst the game came out for PSN this week, Xbox Live will have to wait a little longer, with the game set to release on November 14th for 800 MSP.

If you can't quite wait that long, there's always time to play Stainless Games' 2008 remake of the original, which is also called Warlords, or the Game Room version, which can be found in "Game Pack 012". The 2008 remake will set you back 400 MSP, while the Game Room version will cost you 240 MSP to buy outright or 40 MSP for a single play.

But the new new version has henchmen and different ball types that break different materials and various other unneeded bits of overengineering!

I'll have to do a little research on this. I've never played the original and I'm not even sure what it's about!

Howabout they patch the damn achievement in the original one before making a new one.

Actually, there's TWO versions in Game Room, IIRC - the Atari 2600 one and the arcade original
