Screw GTA 3 I want Vice City with achievements or the original Red Dead or Manhunt.
After looking at the deal it's pretty crap to me, GTA 4 with the DLC's could be had for $20 or less depending on where you look and I have seen Midnight Club LA on Amazon for less then $10. The only good thing in it is Red Dead and LA Noire but each one of their complete editions/game of the year editions could be had for $30 or less each.
I would rather spend a little bit more to get each game seperate and have all the dlc with each game. I think Bathesdia is going to do one of their own pack in's next with Oblivion/Skyrim/Fallout 3 and New Vegas soon for Christmas or some time I bet |

| I don't understand why they made this unnecessary bundle pack! Sony's picking up some of the games that were for Xbox only so it's only fair we could get a GTA bundle starting from pt 1! I don't care about the helicopter view from the first 2 games. It's the point that matters. |
Achievements are gotten everyday whether it's game related, or real life. |

I think they are probably going to release Edition 2 of this Rockstar compilation series with GTA IV's primary disc, RDR: Undead Nightmare (allowing them to repackage the discs that were already produced and didn't sell), Bully: SE, and Table Tennis.
The inclusion of GTA IV in Edition 2 would make strategic sense because if they were to put it in the first compilation, they would be putting all of their eggs in one basket. This type of promotion is not only to make money and promote GTA IV/Max Payne 3, but also to find a way to repackage the Undead Nightmare/Episodes from Liberty City discs that didn't sell and were bought back by Rockstar, or never shipped to retailers to begin with and have been sitting in warehouses.
The regular, uneducated consumer does not care about DLC, so a $60 compilation of GTA IV, RDR, LA Noire, and Midnight Club would sell like hot cakes, but would create a market where a second edition for the DLC disks and less popular releases would never possibly sell. |

I may actually get this. Started RDR, didn't play it much, and didn't like it tbh.
SUE ME.
As for LA Noire, I have it sitting here borrowed, and I've not played GTA4 or Midnight Club. |

Don't get me wrong, it would be nice to see all of the last gen GTAs in one collection.....oh wait, they did have that.....on the PS2. Ok......I would like to see an HD collection of Vice City, San Andreas, Manhunt 1 and 2 and Red Dead Revolver. There we go! They don't have that collection yet! Give us THAT collection!
Yeah but sincerely, this collection is only for new fans or gamers on a budget. It's good that Rockstar will bring these games together in one collection for people, but I'm with your point Tony, give us long running fans something we want. |
