NFS: Most Wanted Gameplay Feature Series #2

NFS: Most Wanted Gameplay Feature Series #2

Everything is also permitted in racing

Written by Kendrene on 12 October 12 at 22:01

What's the fun of virtual races if you can't compete against your friends? Criterion knows and has implemented a fast-paced multiplayer component for its most recent racing game Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012).

Pick a car and race your way through a nonstop Playlist of competitive races, events and challenges. Fight for your place on the start line or turn back to take out oncoming rivals at the finish.

It doesn't matter what you do to get to the finish line first, as long as you are the one to win so smash your rivals out of the way or take advantage of a shortcut to get the win.

Need for Speed: Most Wanted is all set for release on October 30th. You can check out the pre-order incentives here.

The more I see of this city and world the more I want it. I've been waiting for a sequel to Paradise, and it looks like I'll finally be getting it even if it has a different name on it.

Need For Speed has gotten really stupid... Anyone remember NFS 1? When it was made with a partnership with Road & Track? It was about the cars; now it's about bonuses and crappy handling..

The last good NFS was Hot Pursuit.. (The PS1 version for you dildos that were thinking that recent junk that just came out.)

I totally agree with you. I remember the very first time I played Road & Track's NFS. It was at Funcoland and they had it out to be played in the store. I fell in love with that game and i consider it my own personal favorite out of all of them. Why these dummies are deciding to recreate classics like Hot Persuit and Most Wanted, idk but like you, i think it's a stupid idea. Let the originals be remembered for what they were for and give these new titles their own names.
Achievements are gotten everyday whether it's game related, or real life.

The focus on multiplayer puts me off this. Also not liking the open world races... Those were the 2 biggest issues I had with Burnout Paradise and so I probably won't bother getting this one. It's just the same.
I like what I like and I don't what I don't.

I had the old NFS Hot Pursuit on PC back in the day and we played it alot on LAN's, but calling the Hot Pursuit game Criterion developed for junk? I actually think it's pretty good.

Most Wanted 2 looks nice also, but i'll wait for a price drop. Too many awesome games coming out now.

Wow I am really disappointing. I have both Most Wanted (the original 360 game) and Burnout Paradise. This is EXACTLY like Burnout Paradise. Everything mentioned in this trailer is in BP.

I was hoping this new Most (UN)Wanted was getting back to the fun, cheesy, and adrenaline-fueled racing story that started with Need For Speed Underground, and was done to perfection (cut-scene wise) in Most Wanted.

Granted Paradise was a great multiplayer game, it was sorely lacking ANY single player 'story' and the actual driving experience felt flat.

They should've toned down the graphics and made it and XBLA game.
