Vampiric action-stealth game sheds some more light

The last we heard about Realmforge Studios upcoming vampire-action game Dark was a teaser trailer that followed up on the detailed announcement back in May.

Recently, a new set of character screens have surfaced that give us a look into the newly formed vampire Eric Bane and a possible love interest Rose.

Another screenshot has come to light, and this time it focuses on the military group M-17, which is the main organisation and oppostion you will face in this action-stealth game.

Here is a little bit of info regarding these enemies of the paranormal:

Whenever paranormal beings strike terror into the hearts of the populace, a secret government organization can't be very far away. In DARK the vampires have to deal with the elite and mysterious organization know as"M17" – a special unit controlled by the military. Members of "M17" are specialized in capturing paranormal beings, and of course, using the captured beings, and their knowledge, for military purposes.Dark is set to release sometim in the early part of 2013. We will be sure to keep you updated as more information becomes available regarding this title's release.

I really hope this game is good. I'm going to be very disappointed if it sucks.

Not sure about this one yet. Definately on my list on games to watch but need a lot more info before I invest too much time into this.

It used to be that in the late 70's and early 80's that the word "Space" is was in a lot of video game titles. These days it seems the words "Dead" or "Dark" are in so many game titles these days. Not really a complaint, just more of an observation.

For some reason this has my attention so here it goes:

The trailer was not at all convincing and had me thinking it was an FPS which put me off to it since there's so many of those already. This game definitely has potential, but it doesn't look like it will succeed. Of course, I want to be proven wrong and see this game turn out great, but I don't think that'll be the case. Still going to look out for this game, but I'm not getting my hopes up until I see great reviews.
