It was mostly ovals, and I remember a favourite circuit of mine being Talladega.
Yes, ovals are simple, but in this game - every oval was different. They have different main straight lengths, different corner cambers etc. Really, it was a game for my father as he used to spend forever tinkering with the car set up.
There is potential for this to be a great racing game. For it to be truly exciting, the field needs to be huge, you need to get a real sensation of speed and driving right on the limits of the vehicle's handing. |
