KOEI have released another flood of screenshots for their upcoming fighting sequel, Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage 2. Fans who played the first instalment in this series, http://www.trueachievements.com/Fist-of-the-North-Star/....htm, may recognize Ryuga, who was a non-playable character in the first title. This time around, players can get to grips with this fighter as he unleashes his "Taizan Tenroken fighting style" upon his opponents.

Check out these screens as many of the other upcoming fighters get caught up in the action as well as Ryuga:

Remember playing the 2D fighting game of this. Not sure how a Dynasty Warriors based version of this will look. Not actually sure if that's how the gameplay is. Might be like Naruto Generations. It looks pretty good, but it might end up like Guilty Gear when they tried to make an adventure game out of it (a piece of s***). Hope not though...

Oh kick ass, Mamiya is there. Her moveset was my favorite, best for 1v1ing IMO. Not a great crowd clearer though...

Hope not though...The first was a slower version of a Dynasty Warriors game with a FotNS skin broseph.

Mamiya not a great crowd clearer? If you leveled up her crossbow she could wipeout entire groups... just like Jagi's shotgun. Ranged attacks were great timesavers.

I'm buying this day one if and when the North America release happens. Absolutely loved the first but I will say it's not for everyone and was not perfect. I've been a huge fan of this anime for about a decade so I'm gonna act different than the casual customer looking for a game to play.

Hope not though...You could always play the demo of the first game and find out exactly what the gameplay is like? I can't imagine this one being much different. it's DW spin-off after all. Few new characters, probably some new moves/animations. I'll play this purely because it covers more of the FoTNS story-line. Should be good - can't wait.

NB: I was going to point out Mamiyas Crossbow, but 'Ultra Seven' beat me to it smile

I do love my Koei titles and although the seemingly sluggish pace of the first title bothered me a lot while I was completing it, I'll still pick this up because "yay DW-style gaming \m/".
