The special sale on Xbox LIVE this week has a THQ focus. As a result, we have discounted downloadable content, XBLA games and Games on Demand. Those marked with asterisks have achievements associated with them and Marketplace links can be found in the prices. Here is the full list:

And yes if you buy the pass and go ingame you will be given a message to download it (this is how it worked for me for gears 3)
