Or i can link my laptop to my tv and play through that, the amount of trouble ive had trying to stream to my xbox is unreal for something that should be so simple but i found an app that does it made by a company that makes thing for people to download illegal files where you just drag the video in to a window and bang the video streams to the xbox, no need to set up all the network and open ports etc etc just a simple drag and that is it , WHY is it not that simple with 2 Microsoft software systems I need to use a tool made for pirates instead? crazy just crazy! And no i do not download with it, i have made my feeling clear that i do not like piracy what so ever!
Lets see how this goes but they say its a simple thing well so should what i just spoke about be but it isnt lol |

From what I understand it won't be available on Android / iOS devices until "early 2012" which makes me greatly sad. If all goes well I'll be sitting on a Surface by then.
Edit: 2013 |

PAR reported earlier today that MS is being very vague when it comes to supporting ios/android with smartglass and Kuchera was only able to get a back channel source to say that it's possible that it will be available for ios on fri. Leaving android support up in the air.
Color me not surprised. |

| I don't have (or plan to get) a single one of those games, nor use any of those apps on a regular basis. Seems like a VERY limited list of compatible games and uses. |

I'm sure the list will grow, especially after the demand goes up (after the Droid/iOS releases). |

I dont agree with people using it to download but for streaming to devices its the best thing there is out there. You dont need to worry about using it though the app its self is completely legal as it can not download anything without actually vising illegal sites. |

| I think has fail written all over it. I was really excited for this when it was first announced. But It only supports windows 8 phones and tablets too start?!?! what the...... nobody owns these devices yet! and the surface is horribly priced compared to it's competition and most people are under contract and can't get a new phone whenever they want if their carriers even have a wp8 in there line up. With IOS android even wp7.5 and 7.8 list as "soon" (we all know how that usually goes) and zero support for android tablets, I just can't see developers investing in this. |

If microsoft wants any support they need to show support for android users who make up the largest demographic. |
