Activision's Walking Dead Game Gets A New Name

If you're sad to see Telltale's episodic tale of the The Walking Dead coming to a close over the next few months, remember, Activision and Terminal Reality is releasing their own game based on the award-winning property. Based in the universe of the television series instead of the comics, The Walking Dead Video Game puts you in the first-person perspective of Daryl Dixon as he and his brother Merle make their way to Atlanta for what is rumored to be a safe haven.

Of course, if you frequent TA, you probably knew all of that. What no one knew until now is that the game is getting a new, and certainly more creative, title. Debuting sometime in 2013, the game will now be titled The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct. We'll keep you updated with all the news regarding this intriguing title as we near its release.

What is the zombie arcade game that is due to come out soon also?

There was videos of it a while back but we have not heard anything since

I doubt it will be as good or as original as telltale`s version... I`m guessing activisions answer to left 4 dead, cod style, and it`ll get sequels released more than the tv show cry

I'm glad they changed the name, but something like "Daryl Dixion Is A Badass" would have been 1000 times better.

Daryl Dixon is strapped to a chair in an interrogation room. Unaware of his whereabouts, he is bombarded with questions by his unseen captors about the location of a safe haven in Atlanta and his brother Merle. Most of the missions in the game are presented as the flashbacks of Dixon.....
