Negotiate to Free Hostages in Max Payne 3

Hostage situations can last any amount of time from a few hours to several years. Although players haven't had to wait a painstaking amount of time, the "Hostage Negotiation Pack" for Max Payne 3 was originally due to be released in September. The delayed content has now finally arrived and brings with it four new achievements worth a total of 125G.

The Hostage Negotiation Pack brings four new multiplayer maps, several new items, weapons, Filhos De Ogum avatar faction, and more to Max Payne 3 multiplayer. The Club Moderno and Estádio Do Galatians maps deliver intense nightclub and stadium shootouts, while the O Palácio Strip Club and Favela Heights maps introduce all new, highly detailed favela territories. Equip the M24 sniper rifle or IA2 assault rifle, the Explosives Burst for explosive booby traps, the Bomb Suit item to protect against explosive damage or the Intimidation Mask item to cause slower reload times for your enemies.Those of you wanting a sneak peek of the DLC before deciding on a purchase may want to take a look at the latest screenshots.

"Hostage Negotiation Pack" costs 800 MSP and can be downloaded from here. Alternatively, players who have purchased the Rockstar Pass will be able to download the content from the in-game menu for no extra cost. Those of you who are waiting for the download may want to study the map layouts before taking to the streets and causing mayhem.

Players who choose not to download today's extra content will instead have to download the free "Multiplayer Compatibility Pack # 1" that enables everyone online to see the new multiplayer items. This download is mandatory if not purchasing the "Hostage Negotiation Pack" and can be downloaded from here.
