DmC: Devil May Cry DLC Revealed

We're still a couple months away from the release of Capcom and Ninja Theory's DmC: Devil May Cry, but would it really surprise you if they already started to discuss DLC plans? Well, it shouldn't, as that is what today's reveal is all about.

Capcom has announced that a DLC story expansion for the DmC, called "Vergil's Downfall", will allow players to take control of Dante's twin brother, Vergil. In case you had forgotten who he is, you can check out some information about him right here. Capcom has taken great pains to note that this DLC is NOT on disc, despite the fact that it's being unveiled ahead of the games release. They've also released a trailer for the expansion, which promises not only Vergil's story, but "new unlockables, leaderboards and hours of gameplay."

"Vergil's Downfall" for DmC Devil May Cry will arrive shortly after the game's release on January 15th, 2013 for 720 MSP. Those of you in North America who pre-order the game from GameStop or EB Canada will receive the DLC for free as a pre-order bonus. Achievements have not been confirmed at this time.

A demo for DmC is expected to land on the Marketplace next week, on Tuesday, November 20th.
