Chickens Can't Fly All Corn Challenge Now Active

Your chance to pick up a couple of the game's trickier achievements

Those of you who have played Amused Sloth's Chickens Can't Fly (WP) can certainly attest to the fact that it's one of the trickier Windows Phone games to master. This largely comes down to two achievements: One for gold-starring all the levels, and a second for getting a score of 300,000 in a single game. While there's nothing you can do to make the first achievement any easier, patient gamers can wait on a specific weekly challenge to make collecting corn to earn the big score a breeze.

This week, just such a challenge has been made available. Not only will this help you get the 300,000 corn you need, but it's also a simple way to pick up the following achievements:

Chickens Can't Fly (WP) Chicken is resilient! The Chicken is resilient! achievement in Chickens Can't Fly (WP) worth 23 pointsSurvive 20 checkpoints in Survival mode!

Chickens Can't Fly (WP) Chicken hates walls The Chicken hates walls achievement in Chickens Can't Fly (WP) worth 16 pointsPass 5 checkpoints without touching a wall


The corn gained in this level will also help you progress toward collecting one million overall.

Those of you who tried to play the challenge yesterday may have noticed it was crashing after the load screen. The developer's response to this was not only to fix the problem, but to extend the challenge an extra week. This means that you have until next Sunday, December 2nd, to master this challenge.

If it's anything like it was the last time they did this challenge, it might crash on you a few times before you manage to hit the 300k in one go. The developer's explanation was that there were so many pieces of corn on screen that it was really pushing the limits of the system. The best solution to this was to let it run for a bit, then back out to the home screen for a bit, then open the game back up. Just a heads up.

I don't see why these are so hard to get. There are solutions that can help, you don't necessarily need this challenge. The hardest one to get was "Hungry Hungry Chicken" but they patched that to make it much easier.

Very doable without but it's nice to see it still gets support. Even more if you look at the price. Worth the purchase imo.

Also a heads up for you WP gamers mirrors edge is free to download.... I would of made a new post but I don't know how.... Its a Nokia coperation game so I think you may need a Nokia phone. Great game and a good 200g.

Where is the challenge so you can "grind corn"? I cant find any such challenge with no obstacles so you can keep the phone ON and run by itself.
