Ubisoft's Far Cry 3 is less than two-weeks away from release, which means the series of videos that have been showcasing various game elements is soon to come to a close. We've learned how to survive the island and about the dangers we can expect to face there. We've also viewed a trailer that gave us a brief look at the game's story and another that detailed co-op play.

Today, we look away from the single-player and story-driven portions of the title and shine the spotlight on the multiplayer. Despite the game being confined to an island, it looks like there will be plenty to see and do while your team goes for victory.



Far Cry 3 will be available on November 30th in Europe and on December 4th in North America. For pre-order details, head here.

Multiplayer seems pretty fun. Just hope the achievements it will have for it won't be that hard/annoying to get. I still want to work to get them though.

there are no multiplayer achievements from the list i've seen.. only single player and co-op achievements. So pumped for the map editor!

This game looks great... Tons of hype as well! Yet I feel it will be incredibly underrated. In that case I hope the multiplayer stays strong 2-3 months after release...

I'm excited by this but may wait as the single player has shown up a few bugs in the gameplay videos and I don't care for MP in a FarCry game.

They said they've dumbed down the map editor (which I don't get at all since it was incredibly user friendly), have reduced the size of the mp maps and have taken out vehicles all together. I understand that they want to do something new with the franchise but new does not always mean good. I'll play this game, but definitely not for the multiplayer.

Account Settings

Xbox live settings will need to be set up in the following way to allow TrueAchievements to scan your gamertag.

1. Log into https://live.xbox.com

2. Click on My Account in the top toolbar.

3. Scroll down to Settings and Preferences on the right hand side. Click on Privacy and Online Settings.

4. Scroll down to Privacy. You need to make sure that Profile Sharing and Game History is set to Everyone otherwise you will not be scanned.

These simple steps will allow TrueAchievements to scan your profile and update your achievements.
