| A word of advice for anyone considering this.... depending on the final price there may be a better deal. I got FIFA 13 (which overall, the prices remain pretty high on the game - even for FIFA 12 at this point) and then go the EA Season Pass ($25 I think). It gives you a couple of things - 3 days early access to sports games (yawn), but most importantly, free gold packs (either 20 or 24, I can't remember) in FIFA 13, Madden 13 and NHL 13. Of course with this edition being PAL, I know there is not a lot interest in the other games in those regions, and not even sure if the Season Pass is available in PAL, but that's my two cents. It really helped get the MUT 85 Rating achievement (after I got Steve Young in one of the packs) in Madden also. |

Basically, the Ultimate and this edition are the same, give or take 2 gold packs. No need to cry. |

No need to cry.I believe the main difference is the Ultimate Edition give you the packs over a period of 6 months and this gives you the FIFA Points to buy the packs which you can do all at once. |

Relating to the offer, its just another way to shift copies off the shelf, although I don't really see who buys FIFA after Christmas time anyway? |
