Darkstalkers Resurrection Adds Tournament Mode

Last month, we brought you news that Capcom and Iron Galaxy were developing Darkstalkers Resurrection for release on XBLA. The game is set to feature two Darkstalkers titles: Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Revenge and Darkstalkers 3. Now, Capcom revealed a pair of new details about the upcoming fighting-game combo

First, Darkstalkers Resurrection will include an online Tournament Mode for up to 8 players. The host can set the tournament to be either a sudden death style (one game takes the win) or a best of three affair. When it's not your turn for a match in the tournament, you can sit back and watch your competition fight for supremacy.

The second new detail is that the game includes the ability to upload your matches directly to YouTube. Have an awesome come from behind victory you want to show off? Want your more-skilled-at-Darkstalkers friend to weep silently as he or she relives that moment when you somehow managed to spam that double-tap forward, punch combo until he or she was defeated? Simply upload the replay from within the game and spread that link around!

Darkstalkers Resurrection is due to be released early next year and will cost 1200 MSP.
