Edit: The DLC has now been confirmed for all regions and will be released worldwide on December 4th.

Original Story

Way, way back at the Tokyo Game Show, Capcom announced that some new DLC would be coming to their action-RPG, Dragon's Dogma. Fast forward to today, and Capcom has revealed, through their Japanese blog, that the DLC pack is on its way; though at this time, it appears to be Japan-only.

The DLC will add two new modes to the game. First, the game will now feature a hard mode to provide extra challenge to players who have already conquered the title. As a reward for finishing the hard mode, gamers will earn the Edmun Dragonsbane Outfit and Abyss Outfit.

The other new mode is the "Speedrun Mode", which appears to give you a time limit for completing the campaign. If you are able to meet certain time requirements, you will be rewarded with Barnaby and Selene costumes.

The "A Trial for Adventures - Challenge Pack" DLC for Dragon's Dogma is set for release in Japan on December 4th at no cost. As soon as there's any word on this coming to other markets, we'll be sure to let you know!
