New DLC coming to Doritos Crash Course

By Michelle Balsan, 4 years ago
Nearly two years ago, the sponsored title, Doritos Crash Course, landed on the Marketplace and was... surprisingly good. That title, along with Harms Way, vied for a $50,000 prize, which eventually was won by the team behind Crash Course, Wanako.

We all like surprises, especially around this time of year. One surprise we're pretty sure none of you expected to receive was the announcement of fresh DLC for this free title.

Yes, that's right. DLC is coming to Doritos Crash Course... and it has achievements... and won't be free.

The new content will include two new locations, London and Vegas, each with 10 brand new stages, for a total of 20. This is a pretty substantial expansion when you consider that the core game comes withe three locations with five levels apiece for a total of 15 levels. The Japan levels will now all have an easier version available, though it's not clear if that will impact achievements at all. There will also be two new avatar awards and new leaderboards.

Several images were released for the DLC. We're not sure if this DLC is taking the place of Crash Course 2, which had been mentioned at some point, but that seems to be the case for now.
