Last month, we brought you the news
that Visceral Games' upcoming visceral game, Dead Space 3
, would feature optional Kinect support.
Today, we bring you a video detailing exactly how the Kinect will feature in the co-op survival-horror sequel. According to Steve Papoutsis, the game's Executive Producer, this will mark the first time that Kinect has been integrated to include co-op specific voice commands so, as well as your standard 'Reload' and 'Heal' commands, you'll also be able to find and revive your partner, and give and request items and ammo. Unfortunately, you won't be able to request your partner be less of a wus when he's cowering in the corner. Nor will you be able to give them a new set of underwear.
Dead Space 3
has a release date of February 5th for North America and February 8th for Europe.
