PES 2011 Servers Closing on January 29th

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
This is starting to become a yearly tradition for us. Yet again, at the end of the month, the servers will be closing for another PES game: Pro Evolution Soccer 2011.

The chances are that this announcement was made a few days ago but, unlike previous years, Konami has only announced the server closure in-game. We don't have a single newshound who owns this game. We apologise for the delay but thought that this news was better late than never. Here is Konami's usual notification:

The online service for Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 will be terminated on 6:00 29/1/2013 (UTC). We would like to thank you for your loyal support. We would also like to thank you for your continued support of the PES series titles.
As usual, there is an achievement that is affected by the server closure.

Pro Evolution Soccer 2011Mr. Consistency (Online)The Mr. Consistency (Online) achievement in Pro Evolution Soccer 2011 worth 175 pointsAwarded for winning 75% of your Last 20 Ranked matches Online.

You have 11 days left to get this achievement. It's time to put your boots on and start playing!
