Glóin Joins Guardians of Middle-Earth

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
Last week saw the release of the fifth additional Guardian for Guardians of Middle-earth. Of the eight additional Guardians that were included with the Season Pass, players have been able to get their hands on Bilbo Baggins, Bert, Great Goblin, Thorin Oakenshield and Radagast. The last mystery Guardian has hit the marketplace: Glóin, a Warrior from Erebor.

Glóin, son of Gróin and father of Gimli, is one of the twelve Dwarves that accompanied Thorin Oakenshield to reclaim Erebor from the dragon Smaug. He would later attend the Council of Elrond in Rivendell to help discuss the fate of the One Ring, which was in the possession of a young Hobbit by the name of Frodo Baggins. His abilities as a warrior allow him to get up close and personal with his foes, all while relying on his Dwarven traits to keep him in the thick of even the most dangerous battles.

Before deciding on a purchase, you may want to see the character in action. Take a look at his trailer:

The new character does not add any achievements. The two remaining characters that are still to be released are Barrow-wight Lord and Snaga; we'll bring you more details on these as we get them.

"Glóin - Playable Guardian" costs 160 MSP and can be downloaded from here. Players who own the Season pass can download the character in-game for no extra cost.
