Borderlands 2 New Hot Fixes On The Way

By Andrew Ogley, 3 years ago
A quick heads-up for all Borderlands 2 fans. Following rapidly on the heels from the previous hot fixes, Gearbox have announced via their community website, that there is a new set of dynamically applied hot fixes heading for the title.

From the official website we have the following details concerning the fixes:
- Commando's Rifleman, Gunner and Shock Trooper class mods now correctly increase kill skill bonuses.
- Increased Shock Spike shield damage by addressing issue where it was not being calculated properly.
- Clients are now able to see explosions caused by Norfleets in multiplayer.
- Thermitage (Sir Hammerlock DLC) is now friendlier and will no longer refuse to come play with some players.
It is worth remembering that hot fixes are downloaded on the fly and are only applied after pressing the 'Start' button. This means that you have to be connected to the internet when you boot up the game. More importantly, these are temporary fixes which are loaded into memory and then subsequently lost when then game is exited.

The hot fix is now in the process of being rolled out so you should be picking it up shortly.
