Runner 2 Launch Trailer Dashes Into View

Waaaay back in October of 2011, Gaijin games announced that they would be releasing Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien on the Xbox LIVE Arcade. The game, which is a sequel to the Wii and Steam-released Bit.Trip Runner is rhythm-action game of sorts. You have to help the runner, CommanderVideo, overcome obstacles by pressing specific buttons in time with the in-game music.

Initially revealed for launch in the early part of 2012, the game suffered a fairly substantial delay that pushed it back to November. We saw a pretty regular flow of news from the game till about August of last year, but then all went quiet.

Now, a launch trailer and several screens have appeared for the game:

Though the release date is listed as today, Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien is not currently available on the Marketplace. It wouldn't be surprising, however, if it makes its debut tomorrow. It will set you back 1200 MSP.
