Rambo: The Video Game Gets New Screenshots

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
Rambo: The Video Game takes players through the events of the first three Rambo films: First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III. To ramp up the authenticity of the game, developer Reef Entertainment has revealed that a collaboration with StudioCanal has produced the original voice recordings for all three films. As a result, the game will include the original voice-tracks of John Rambo and Col. Samuel Trautman.

The previous cinematic trailer didn't feature any gameplay footage at all and most of the screenshots that we've seen so far have only showed some of the game's environments. A perfect example is the following screenshot that depicts the forest that lies on the edge of the town of Hope.

You would probably agree with us that it isn't very Rambo-like. There aren't that many explosions, stabbings or shootings. The following two screens are probably a little more of what you were expecting.

Rambo: The Video Game is due to be released on the Xbox 360 later this year.
