Resident Evil 6 Takes Siege

By Rebecca Smith, 3 years ago
As well as the four separate campaigns, Resident Evil 6 (Xbox 360) launched with Mercenaries mode and Agent Hunter mode to give players plenty to be getting along with. Over the last few weeks, players have been spoiled with three extra multiplayer modes in the forms of "Onslaught", "Predator" and "Survivors". Today, a sixth multiplayer mode has joined the fold. "Siege Mode" pits two teams of players against each other in a bid to protect or kill a rookie BSAA agent and adds five new achievements worth a total of 125G.

Adds the Siege game mode to the Extra Content menu of Resident Evil 6! Protect the innocent civilians from the creatures until the rescue effort arrives. Players can choose to be an agent helping the civilians, or a creature hunting them down in this multiplayer mode that supports up to 6 players!
Those of you who want a sneak peek at the DLC before deciding on a purchase can check out this trailer and screenshots. "Siege Game Mode" costs 320 MSP and can be downloaded from here.

Additionally, Capcom has also released the "Map Pack Bundle" for 400 MSP. The bundle combines the contents of "Stage Map Pack A" (released December 4th, 2012), "Stage Map Pack B" (released January 29th) and the three separate Additional Stages that were released on October 30th, 2012.

The stages Requiem for War, Liquid Fire, Rooftop Mission, Creature Workshop, Rail Yard, High Seas Fortress, and The Catacombs will be added to the Extra Content menu in Resident Evil 6.
The bundle represents a saving of 160 MSP over buying the packs separately and it can be downloaded from here.
