Electronic Arts and Visceral Games are certainly going out of their way to convince you that Army of TWO: The Devil's Cartel
is worthy of your money and game time. Between Dev Diaries
, behind-the-scenes trailers
, and showcasing the acting talent
behind the game, there's already been plenty of information to digest.
Of course, nothing is a better substitute for knowing whether or not you'll like a game than to actually play it, so those of you on the fence will be happy to know that a demo is coming for the title. Curious as to what it includes? Look no further for the details:
In the demo, players will step into the boots of private military contractors Alpha and Bravo as they embark on a mission to rescue a kidnapped politician while diffusing an additional hostage situation. From the bottom floor of a dangerous drug lab, to the rooftops of a sky rise, Alpha and Bravo must infiltrate the Cartel’s stronghold and overcome hordes of kamikaze cartel members, all the while working together to survive. With the lives of others on the line, the dynamic duo will need to split up as one player runs into battle face-to-face with their opposition, while the other takes to the sky in a helicopter to man a mini gun and provide cover.
The demo will launch on March 12th. Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel
will be released on March 26th, 2013 in North America and March 28th, 2013 across Europe. For details about the "Overkill Edition", which people who put down pre-orders will get at no additional cost, head here
