Disney Infinity Delayed

We have some bad news for those of you who were eagerly awaiting Disney Infinity. According to a report from The New York Times, the game has been delayed.

Don't fear, it doesn't seem to be due to any negative reason. Toy retailers are actually quite impressed with the title and pushed for The House of Mouse to release the game closer to that all-important holiday window. This, of course, will cause it to be harder to find some of those sets as parents eager to get this year's 'in' toy snap up that thing that sort of looks like Skylanders: Spyro's Adventure, but hey, it's a business. We understand that maximizing profit is part of the deal.

Disney Infinity had previously been set for a June release. You can now expect to see it at retailers on on August 18th in North America and on August 23rd in other markets. For all of our previous coverage on the game, head here.
