Pirates vs. Ninjas Dodgeball Delisted

Let's pose the following scenario to you.

You wake up in the morning, same mundane routine as everyday. Get up, change out of your pjs, eat breakfast, and shower. As you're sitting there eating, you notice that box of Cap'n Crunch cereal sitting in front of you.

You think to yourself, "he'd be much cooler if he was a pirate. Wait, is he a pirate? Either way, pirates are cool".

Meanwhile, on your Xbox, some member of your family who is an early riser is already busily up and swearing at some iteration of Ninja Gaiden.

"Ninjas are so awesome," you continue to think, brain addled by recently having awakened.

"... but are they awesome as pirates?"

You pose this question to the other person in the room, who brushes you off with obvious lack of concern for your quandry.

As you continue to eat your cereal, hoping that today is the day that this deliciousness won't cut the roof of your mouth, you ponder the ways these two can face off. An epic confrontation on the high seas? Ducking in and out of the mountainsides in Japan?

Then it dawns on you. Dodgeball. It's a totally even playing field as neither side is a natural at it. It would really let you know who would win the war of Pirates vs. Ninjas.

Thankfully, someone else had this same exact train of thought and programmed and eventually released Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball on XBLA.

Not-so-thankfully, it has come to our attention that the game has now been delisted. Go ahead and check out the game page on Xbox.com and you'll just see one of those "Oops" messages.

We're not sure why the game was delisted, or if this might mean other games are soon to meet the same fate. We're also no longer sure how to gauge which faction would win the ageless war between pirates and ninjas, but if someone comes up with it, we'll be sure to let you all know.
