GRID 2 Expands Into Europe

Patrick Callahan is at it again. Of course, by "it", I'm referring to another instalment of gameplay footage in the World Series Racing video coverage. After sharing a little slice of the American Dream earlier this month, the racing action in GRID 2 now returns to Europe following appearances at Brands Hatch, Barcelona and the Red Bull Ring.

The head of the fictional World Series Racing championship uses the newest video (see below) to describe how important and influential European racing is to the sport in general. The footage takes us from the idyllic Côte d'Azur, to the busy streets of central Paris and the much-liked Algarve International Circuit.

As well as showcasing new locations, the video highlights the multitude of cars that will be available. The pick of the European cars is given below, with more motors to be confirmed as we get closer to the game's release.

• BMW E30 M3 Sport Evolution (Evo3)
• BMW Motorsport 320 TC
• Caterham-Lola SP300R
• Ford Focus ST 2013
• Gomez Competition GC 10.1
• McLaren F1 GT
• Mercedes Benz 190E 2.5 Evo 2
• Mercedes Benz SLS GT3
• Pagani Huayra
• Volvo S60 BTCS
You can still pre-order GRID 2 before the title pulls up on the starting grid on May 28th and 31st in North America and Europe respectively.
